  • My debut award-winning book,
  • Connected a bullied child with their inner superhero.
  • I then won a Business Mum of the Year Award
  • The series grew with book two, focusing on the topic of self-esteem.
  • Helping a child realise their own self-worth.
  • and another book comforting children through a bereavement
  • helping them understand their emotions.
  • I went on to win a business award from Theo Paphitis.
  • and felt even more inspired to help children.
  • The series grew and moved on to focus on anxiety,
  • helping children cope with anxiety and exam stress.
  • But there is also lots of whimsical fun for younger readers,
  • with the introduction of the DIno Clouds for a magical party.
  • I want all children to thrive and not just survive their childhood.

My Journey

My journey as a children’s author began with my own family.

When my son was bullied, I wanted to find a way to help him understand that what was happening to him did not define who he was. I began writing a story to give him hope, confidence and the reminder that his voice mattered.

That story became Big Little Voice Colours the Grey — and it changed the direction of my life.

What began as one story for one child grew into the Big Little Voice® series, exploring bullying, confidence, self-worth, anxiety, difficult emotions and resilience.

Along the way, I discovered another important part of childhood: the power of imagination. This led to the creation of Dino Clouds®, a joyful world encouraging children to look up, dream and see possibilities everywhere.

Today, I bring both worlds into schools, combining my love of storytelling with my passion for helping children feel heard, valued, confident and empowered.
